You may wish to share as we explore the Bible together in private reading by using the prepared resources here.
Perhaps you'd like to join a small study group weekly, or just for special times of the year such as Lent or Advent.
daily readings
Rev Matthew Bond and Rev Ruth-Mary Bond have prepared a daily reading resource which encourages all of the Spicer community to read the Bible. January - March 2024 saw us read through all four Gospels, one chapter per day. In April and May, the period called Pentecost, 2024 we'll explore the book of Acts, and then some of Paul's letters to the early church.
weekly study groups
Monday evenings, 7.30pm, in the Mark room at Spicer Uniting Church.
Led by Rev Matthew Bond, supported by other church leaders, this group will suit all-comers. You will find this a safe place to share any questions you have, learn to understand those tricky passages and explore a range of perspectives. Never been to a bible study group? Don't worry.
Monday evenings, 7.30pm, in private homes.
Led by keen, spiritually mature members of Spicer community, this group digs deeper in the Bible each week through guided study, prayer and fellowship. They meet in the private homes of group members, and you will find out more information by contacting the church office.
